Patti Bohac, 60, of Schuyler, died Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her home in Schuyler.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 6, 2025, 10:30 a.m., Divine Mercy Parish-St. Mary's Catholic Church, Schuyler. Rev. Brian Connor, Celebrant. Visitation Sunday 2 to 5 p.m., Rosary at the chapel. Visitation Monday 9:30 to 10:30 at the church. Committal in Schuyler Cemetery Lunch following in the church hall.

Patti was born November 24, 1964, to Edwin and Lois Gall. She grew up on a small farm near Leigh, Nebraska, with her four siblings, Keith, Brian, Dan and Deb. Patti played volleyball and basketball. She also had a great group of friends that stayed along her side to this day.

In 1986, she met Curt Bohac after being introduced by his brother John. After losing a bet, Curt took Patti to dinner. It was the best bet he ever lost because they later married in June 1988. Curt has been winning ever since! In June 1989, their first child, Ashley, came along. It wasn't until 2003 that their son, Colton, was born.

In 2005, their third child, Cade, was born. Throughout the years, Curt and Patti enjoyed attending their kids' sporting events.

Patti worked at Becton Dickinson for 29 years. Patti enjoyed cooking for Curt and the guys after long days farming. Her love for sports, craft fairs, shopping, playing cards, and gambling was always fun to watch. Her quick wit, humor, nick-name giving and loving nature will always be remembered by her family and friends.

Along with her husband and kids, her biggest joy in life was being a grandmother. She was fondly known as "Grandma Nice" by her grandkids. She took every opportunity to spoil them and spend time with them.

Patti is survived by her husband, Curt; children, Ashley (Joey) Benoit, Colton Bohac, and Cade Bohac. Siblings, Keith Gall, Brian Gall, Dan (Kim) Gall, Deb (Jeff) Harding; half siblings, Mike (Brooke) Gilloti, Christine (John) Rodenburg; step-mother, Julie Gall; mother-in-law, Diane Bohac; grandchildren, Gabriel Wiese, Eden Benoit, Margaret Benoit, Noelle Benoit; 17 nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Richard Bohac; brother-in-law, John Bohac; and sister-in-law, Carol Gall.
