Sharon R. Eisenmann

Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon R. Eisenmann, age 88, of Madison, Nebraska, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Leonard's Catholic Church in Madison. Reverend Gregory Carl will be celebrant, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service.
Resseguie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home in Madison.
Sharon Rose Eisenmann was born April 9, 1936, to Walter and Theresa (Kerkman) Wolverton on the family farm in Pilger, Nebraska in Stanton County. The family moved to rural Madison when she was five years old. She attended Stanton County grade school and St. Leonard's, graduating from Madison High School in 1953 as Valedictorian of her class. Sharon attended the College of St. Mary and then worked for Catholic Charities in Omaha.
On April 12, 1955, she married Don Eisenmann at St. Leonard's Catholic Church in Madison. They farmed southeast of Madison for fifteen years. She and her husband started their own business, Eisenmann Supplies Inc., in 1958. Sharon worked there for 60 years as a bookkeeper and secretary.
Six children were born to this union, Denis, Bernita, David, Daniel, Bonnie, and Bob.
Sharon was active with her church, being treasurer of the Women's Guild for two terms and a leader two terms. She was president of the Rural Central Deanery for two years, served on the Board of Directors of the Kidney Foundation, and was president of the Norfolk Kidney Foundation Chapter one term. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Omaha Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women for ten years, becoming a lifetime member and handled their annual raffle for seven years.
She is survived by her sons, David (Leslie), Daniel (Lana), and Bob (Mary); daughter, Bonnie (Jerry) Schomer; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Roberta O'Sullivan of CA; sister-in-law, Edna Eisenmann; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Bernita; son and daughter-in-law, Denis and Amy Eisenmann; brother, Don Wolverton; brothers-in-law, Phil O'Sullivan and Glenn Eisenmann; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arland and Sally Wurdeman.
