COLUMBUS - Timothy L. Berlin, 55, of Columbus, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bonaventure Church with the Rev. Tom Weisbecker officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at McKown Funeral Home and continues Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Timothy was born Jan. 9, 1952, in Genoa to Eldin and Norma (Thomazin) Berlin. He received his education in Genoa and graduated from Genoa High School in 1970. He attended business college in Grand Island. He married Alana Van Dyke on Sept. 5, 1987, at St. Bonaventure Church. He worked at Loup Public Power until his retirement. Tim was an avid World War II history buff and enjoyed battle reenactment toys. He was a Jimi Hendrix fan and enjoyed traveling to Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Alana Berlin of Columbus; mother, Norma Berlin of Genoa; sister, Sue Minturn of Genoa; mother-in-law, Doris Van Dyke of Columbus; and nephews, Brandyn Berlin of Silver Creek and Corey Seymour of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldin Berlin; and brother, Bill Berlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to diabetes and heart research.
