Dear Peggy, David, Russell, Carol, and Rob and Families, We just heard of Roger's death and want to extend our deepest sympathy to each of you. Your folks lived several miles north of us--through Black Coulee and I remember the day they stopped and told us they were moving to California. We didn't see much of you after that but have such good memories of your Dad and Mom. So friendly and kind, I remember the mandolin he made for Uncle Paul--such talent. Always good times when your family was around. Carol, you are my namesake and I loved your grandparents and all the family. You kids take care and know we are thinking of you. If you get to Montana, come see us. Love, Carol Von Stein Kienenberger and family.

Dear Peggy and Drew, David and Lisa, Russell and Debbie, Carol and B.G., and Rob and Kelley and kids,
Please know that we are all praying for you up here in Calgary. Uncle Roger was a great man and I'll always remember his smile. It was so instant. He had the Montana grin. Mom and I have been in constant touch since he's been ill and I prayed nightly for him. We will be remembering him on Thursday and will pray that he and your Mom are no longer in touch by cell phone and that he finally has that number! Which reminds me, I tried to email you and have no one's emails or numbers anymore. Take care and remember, he's happy where he is now, he's out of pain and with your beloved Mom. And let us not forget Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Donny too. Again we are so sorry for your loss. If one of you or more would like to reach me, my email address is [email protected]. Again, our prayers.
