Andrew Britton Catignani, born January 8, 1950, died September 22, 2018.
Born in Nashville, TN, Andy attended Father Rryan High School and relocated to Memphis to attend the University of Memphis. He was employed with Carty and Company for 28 years and attended Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit.
He was predeceased by his brother, Dan Catignani and is survived by his wife, Sue Parris Catignani and his beloved family; his son, Todd Butler (Jennie), grandchildren, Mason and Adison Butler; and Stuart and Gina McCown, grandchildren, Molly and Matthew McCown of Memphis; and his brothers, Jay, Chris and Bob Catignani of Nashville, TN.
Andy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and generous heart.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 25 with Funeral Mass following at 11 a.m. at Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. A reception will follow at the church.
The family requests memorials be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I want to express my condolences to Sue, Andy's wife. Andy was a classmate and teammate of mine in grade school and high school. He had a calmness about him that was noteworthy. I liked him and his family too. God Bless you!

Wow...sorry to discover the news about Andy. Just found out while on a phone call with Don C. yesterday, Sept 24 2018. Earlier a few months ago it was Woodie M...now Andy. I worked with Andy for years, first at UPIBG then later at Carty before I returned home to Florida. Andy was a decent and helpful guy, with an interesting sense of humor. Although we were not close, he was always helpful and friendly...not to mention a smart trader. I am sorry for your family's loss indeed. Life seems fragile at times. God Bless.
