I had been looking for Calvin for years. I moved to Los Angeles and we fell out of contact. He used to frequent the music store that I worked at in Memphis called Cat's. I remember him as being the nicest and most genuine person I had ever met. One time when I was sick, he came to my house with get-well balloons and cranberry juice. What 21 year old does that?? He was so thoughtful. I just found out this news today while looking for him on the internet. I am beyond devastated and my heart is heavy. I pray for your strength. Calvin is truly missed! Love, Tam

I still cannot believe that you are gone. As I am writing this, memories of you are flooding my mind. Memories like you being the first to put money on my new daughter, LeKeshia, at her and AraXavion's wedding reception. I remember how much you loved the Lakers and the Saints. And how could I forget my scented candles salesman. BTW, I could use some right now. :-)
I hope that you are resting peacefully. Next time I make my lemon pound cake that you loved so much, I will cut a slice for you.

Auntie Sherron, Uncle Calvin, and Cuzzo Derrick,
I know I was not physically around during these past few years, but know that you all were always in my prayers and thoughts! I will always remember Lil Calvin's smile and the way he looked in his glasses. And also, if nothing else, I will always remember all the love he and all of you showed me from the very beginning as I was welcomed into the family back in 1989. A love that means so much!
Lil Calvin's dedication and will continue to inspire me to stay committed to my purpose as well as to living the best life I possibly can live. When sadness creeps into the airspace, try to hold on to the fact that my cousin's life was not in vain nor will be forgotten.

As the days have turned into months I miss you everyday. I often think of all the fun times we had over the years and watching you grow in to a man, husband and father. Most of all I miss the fireworks on the forth of July, you are the little brother I always wanted. May God always keep you.

To Sherron, Calvin, and Derrick
Little did we know that morning that God was going to call Calvin's name. In life we loved him dearly and in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose him. He did not go alone for a part of us went with with him the day God called him Home. He left us so many peaceful memories. His love is still our guide. Although we can not see, he is always at our side. Our Family was broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one our chain will link again.

Calvin my Nephew,
I thank God for the times we were together. I'm just sorry that I didn't get to spend more time with you. The times I did see you, were the good times. I remember asking you one time why you always stared at me, and your answer was Auntie because I think that you are so pretty. That made me realize that you loved me and I was special to you. I miss you making me laugh, with your funny sense of humor. I'll always treasure the moments our families spent together.
You are gone but never forgotten. We will meet again in the bye & bye. I can just imagine you and your Uncle Rozell laughling and joking. I loved you both, but God loved your more.

Just wanted you to know that you all have been in my thoughts and Prayers. I know that we can't phathom losing a loved one, but believe it or not God knows best. We all never know what God has in his plans for our lives, but know that He never makes a mistake. Calvin is in Glory, walking the streets of Gold, no more pain, sorrow and tears, because I know that Heaven is for real.
God shared Calvin III with us for a short time, and I thank Him for that time. May God continue to Bless & Keep you all.

I pray that God will continue to comfort you and give you peace. I often think of Lil Cal laughing and showing that awesome smile. That is what brings so much joy to my heart when I think of him. Your husband and father was a man to be honored and adored. He loved his family and friends to no end. He had a sense of humor that could cause the sun to rise over a dark cloud. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. I trust that he sits with Christ and watches over you all each and every moment of the day. Although some time has passed, Lil Cal is never forgotten. He will always be in the thoughts of all who has the pleasure of knowing him, if even for a moment. I miss my cousin even still and always will. I know your hearts are still heavy as I think of my cousin often, but know that you all are still in Marquis and I prayers. Harris family, you have my condolences for your loss. I went to East with Calvin and Derrick. I was fortunate enough to have a pretty nice conversation with him a few years ago in the mall. Derrick be strong man, I know that you're hurting brother. Nekia, we'll be praying for you at work.

I am so thankful that CK, as I called him, was in our lives for the time that he was. He joined our Gordon's Family and soon became apart of it. I remember the last time we all went to the movies together and his Mom had to bring him because he could no longer drive. He was smiling and happy just knowing we all loved and cared for him so much, little did I know when I took him home that night it would be the last time I would hear his voice or see his face. I miss you already....Hope your mom doesn't mind the texts!! I am Praying for your children as well as your brother, mom and dad, I know how much they are going to miss you...
