FLOYD PERRY GARRETT

FLOYD PERRY GARRETT, 82, passed away February 16, 2014 at Lexington Health Care Center in Shaumburg IL. A native Memphian who graduated from Manassas High School and Rust College. Mr. Garrett served in the United States Air Force. A former teacher at Cummings Elementary School and employee at the Shelby County Tax Assessors Office. Later he was employed at American Airlines where he retired. In his passing he leaves a loving wife, Pauline Ann Garrett; two sons, Fredrick Garrett and Timothy Garrett of Memphis; a daughter, Sherry Shaw O’Conner, of Brooklyn, NY; sister Evelyn G. Barbee, niece, Jerolyn D. Barbee; nephew Jacen B. Barbee; great-nephew, Daniel Wheeler Barbee, relatives and friends
