Orlando, FL

Hilda B. Fowler Savage, 91, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida and Memphis, Tenn., died December 31, 2017.

Born, January 21, 1926, she lived in Memphis until her late husband, Doyle's, retirement in 1994 when they moved to Punta Gorda. Mrs. Savage, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, was a homemaker and member of The Ninety-Nines aviation organization. Her greatest role was that of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband, Doyle C. Savage, son, John C. Savage, and granddaughter, Lauren Pearcy, she is survived by son, Ralph (Debi) S. Savage, of Orlando; daughter, Linda Hammons (Brian) of St. Augustine; four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:

I have so many memories of Hilda, first with Ralph, and then when she, her husband Doyle became friends with my parents. Its hard to say where to start. She was one great lady!
