JAMES HENRY MORRIS

James Henry ”Jim” Morris of Germantown, retired USN Petty Officer First Class, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the age of 59. He was a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his bachelor’s degree and a graduate of Jacksonville Theological Institute where he received his masters. Jim was a 21 year Navy veteran and 20 year employee of FedEx, where he was a senior router scheduler. He was preceded in death by his parents Lerlie Mae and Charles Warren Morris and grandson Jayden Michael Poe. Jim leaves his wife of 25 years Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Morris, his daughters Jamie Morris, Rachel Poe, a brother Glenn W. Morris and three grandchildren Elijah Bellew, Cheyenne Webb, and Christopher Poe. There will be a gathering of family and friends from one o’clock until service time at two o’ clock on the afternoon of Saturday, June 13, 2015, in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119.
