Kathy and I were childhood friends. My parents told me the sad news today (they read the obituary in the paper), and I wanted to express my sympathy to all of the family. It appears that Kathy and I are only about an hour's drive away from each other! If I can be of any help down here in Texas, please, let me know. I know that we have not been in touch, but I have thought of your family often and will do whatever I can.

John was such a wonderful person with a great since of humor.
he built a barn for us years ago and
i can honestly say my horses have
a barn better than most houses.
my fondest memory of john was
looking out my back window and
seeing john there every morning
bright and early with a cup of
coffee and a smile. he always made
me laugh and he became like family.
he will be missed. our deepest sympathy to his family.
he touched a lot of lives and
as i look out my back window and
see the result of his hard work i tear
up because i can see him in my mind
standing out there with his coveralls
in the early morning with that cup of
coffee and a smile.
john-you will be truly missed.
God must need a great builder to
construct something wonderful in
his kingdom.

He was and will always be a wonderful memory to my family. A master of his art and creator of dream houses. I fell in love with him the first day I met him.
May God bless your family and all the funniest memories continually come to mind.
Love you all!

Though we only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, he was a genuine, kind & pleasant person to be in the company of. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. You all now have another Guardian Angel in Heaven.
