Jonathan Tate, 45, died October 23, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Margo Shaw; children, Rev. Johnteris Tate, Romello Tate, and Shenicia Wise. Visitation, 4-6 p.m. on November 2, 2018 at Superior Funeral Home, 1129 North Hollywood. Funeral Services on Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11 a.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1621 Dellwood. Carriage Processional starts at 1:30 p.m. from 978 Birch; burial immediately following in Memphis Memory Gardens.

Jonathan was one of the funniest people that ever lived, but at the same time he was always real and honest with you no matter the circumstances. The last couple times I saw him and spoke to him he always uplifted me and always gave me some of the best advice, and I am forever grateful for that. Love and missing you forever uncle Jonathan!

I love my baby brother so very much. He was so loving and generous. He always complimented me every time I saw him and made me smile whenever we talked or spent time together. I can't envision my life without him in it. My soul aches because he is gone. I love you always Jonathan!
