RICHARD COCKRILL Obituary

Marion - RICHARD THADDAEUS COCKRILL, SR., 78, retired salesman with Riverside Tractor Parts, departed this life April 16, 2013 following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Crittenden County, a member of First Presbyterian Church, West Memphis, and a member of the Marion City Council. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamela Ann Cockrill, his parents, Richard and Mildred Pulliam Cockrill and three sisters. He leaves to mourn his passing the following: his wife, Judy Cockrill; son, Thad Cockrill; stepson, Chad Martin (Hannah), grandson, Luke Martin; brother, J. P. Cockrill (Julia); sister, Evelyn McCrary, brother, Harvey Cockrill (Nona); four nephews, and many, many friends. Born in Crawfordsville, AR, Richard was as 1952 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a Mason. Visitation, Thursday, April 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Services at 2 p.m., Friday, April 19 at First Presbyterian Church.
