WILLIAM DANIELS Obituary

Covington - William Robert Daniels, the widower of JoEllen Daniels, passed away on the morning of June 15, 2014. Mr. Daniels was a retired chemist and member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Mr. Daniels is survived by his sons, William Robert Daniels, Jr. of Memphis and Robert Daniels of Melbourne, Fl; daughters, Deborah Simonton of Brighton, Beth Cooney of Decatur, GA, Mikki Craig of Maryville, and Rebecca Grooms of Brighton; a brother, Albert Timothy Daniels of Paducah, KY; a sister, Dawn Daniels Rogers of Woodstock, GAl; grandchildren, Regan, Kaleb, and LaKen Jo Daniels, Laura Grooms (Rover), Trey Hooper, Danielle Stettnisch, Hannah McClain, Staci Sullivan, Edward Cooney, Olivia Williams, Timothy and Gwendolyn Daniels, and Macy and Jacob Craig; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Riggs Call, Troi Stettnisch, Rubye Kate and Reid McClain, Sloan, Tanner, and Amelia Sullivan, Noah and Levi Williams, and Aly Hooper. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by a grandson, Harrison Simonton. The services for Mr. Daniels will be held on Thursday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation for Mr. Daniels will be held the night before, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place in the Covington Memorial Gardens.
