WONG JOE Obituary

Wong Lon Fong Joe, 97, of Cordova, TN passed away March 16, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born in Canton, China and came to the United States in 1936. Later, she married Joe Hong and they operated stores in Tyronza, AR and Memphis. She was a member of First Chinese Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and family, two brothers and their families, and many nieces and nephews and grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice. May God bless you and your family in a time of sorrow. I met Mrs. Wong when she and her husband Mr. Joe own the store on Netherwood.I lived down the street from the store.They was one of the sweeties people you could ever meet.This comes from the Bledsoe.901 282-7108
