Eric, Kelsea, and Trevor and the rest of Alan's family. My condolences.
Al and I met at Ohio University when he was a sophomore, We became good friends. In 1974 Al, Fred Wolff and I lived in a rented house on Lake Shore Drive in Northwood, New Hampshire for 3 or 4 years. Very fond memories of those days, getting to know Al other than being a student at OU. Witnessed his master skills of making vegetarian food. He was always a good guy and thought of others. He is missed. Rest in Peace!

Worked for Allan "back in the day" at Riverbend. He was a great boss and an all-around good guy. Condolences to his children - he always loved talking about them with so much pride. May he rest in peace.

Dear Allan´s family,
I met Allan in high school thru BBYO- we had many highjinks then which continued when we , along with Garrey Flam, ended up at OU together. His dry sense of humor, tinged with sarcastic wit was always a source of entertainment. I was so sorry to hear of his passing and extend my condolences to all of you. Many years when I lived in Providence, the kids were very young, Allan stopped to visit and had the opportunity to meet his family ( I´m sure you don´t remember!) .
May his memory be of a blessing

It´s hard to imagine a world without Allan in it. At Riverbend he taught me so much. We wrote the PCC budgets together, which were always a drudgery for me, but he taught me about levity making the hardest jobs easier. His favorite topic of discussion, even more than the Steelers, was his children, his greatest passion. I will always treasure his friendship and tutelage and will remember him with respect and admiration.
