Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Allan's passing, he will be sorely missed. I had the honor of working with Allan at Riverbend for almost 10 years and I am always grateful for his support, sense of humor and leadership. I learned so much from him. He was widely respected as the "dean" of the mental health center CFOs and was called upon numerous times to provide expert analysis and creative solutions to thorny issues. Allan also deserves so much credit for the development of John H. Whitaker Place. ...

Allan was so very dear to me. I loved the time we had together - some of the BEST of my life! I truly believe the world, especially my world, is a lesser place without him. Rest in Peace, my Sweet. I will love you forever.

A good and honorable man gone far too soon. It was my privilege to know, call him a friend and colleague and share his commitment to serving others. Michael Bergeron, Retired CFO -Center For Life Management.

Dave and I met Al in 1976 when we moved from Michigan to Northwood NH. Fred, Al and Benji were living in a house on the lake that they rescued from burning down by the fire department. Al had long hair in a pony tail and loved football like us. He treated us like family and we spent many Thanksgivings together. During the blizzard of 78 we stayed overnight at his house when we couldn´t get home through the storm. Al always looked out for people in need. Al always put God and family...

I was so sorry to hear about Allan's passing. We worked together at Riverbend and as a new project manager, he taught me so much about budgets and federal reporting. When I had my first child, he gave us a personalized book that my son still treasures nine years later! He was a warm, compassionate guy and I'm so sorry we lost him too soon.

I am so thankful that Terry Sturke contacted me the morning of Allan's service and that I was able to attend. So many memories of a special friend, boss, and colleague at Riverbend where I worked from 1987- 2002. One fond memory is climbing the stairs to the third floor at 5 Market Lane as I told my young son Ben to say something critical of the Stealers. When we arrived in Allan's office, Ben blurted out, "Stealers Stel!" which maybe a regular manta in subsequent conversations with Allan...

Al was my roommate for three years at OU. Freshman year,we were on the same dorm floor where I first met him and became aware of his amazing sense of humor and his love for fun times. I´ll always remember his warmth, humor and camaraderie. The world is a much duller place without Al´s presence.

In our darkest days after Nathaniel left us Allan showed up at our door with kind words and a freshly baked apple pie. That was meaningful to me. I'm very sad for Eric, Kelsie and Trevor for the loss of their father.

A caring, funny, creative and sincere friend. May Al´s memory be a blessing to all to knew him and loved him. Barry Rabinovich
