Barbara Jewell Obituary
She was born in Reno, Nev., the daughter of Richard and Anita (Sinotte) Jewell Jr.
Barbara was a charter member of the fraternal order of Eagles and the Family Fraternity of the Moose. She enjoyed shopping, camping, traveling making quilts, and helping others with any needs that they may have had.
Survivors include her mother, Anita T. Jewell of Pembroke; sons, Nathan E. Glodgett and his fiancée, Ashley Cate of Laconia, Derek R. Glodgett Sr. and his wife, Christina M. of Franklin; brothers, Douglas R. Jewell of Pembroke and Michael J. Jewell of Loudon; a sister, Deborah Hanson and her husband, Stephen of Epsom; grandchildren, Madhson Glodgett, Brianna Blake, Angelina Glodgett, Derek Richard Glodgett Jr. and Tyler Barry; also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Jewell Jr.; and a sister, Theresa A. Raymond.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. in Concord.
Private graveside services will be held later.
