Charles Eager Obituary
Venice, FL — Charles Bradford Eager Venice, Florida Charles Bradford Eager, 91, was born in the "month of many great Americans", February 16, 1930. He passed peacefully at home November 16, 2021, following five years of dialysis. His positive, uncomplaining manner with an always present smile, was an inspiration to all his family and friends. He so appreciated the staff at Davita Dialysis in Venice, FL, and the many medical personnel who accompanied him on his journey.
He leaves behind his wife, Jeannette Cagle; loving children, Page Eager and Alexander 'Cran' Eager; their mother, Sheila Cran-Barry; two grandchildren Matthew and Michael; his beloved sister, Sandra Methven; his niece, Dale Methven (Ned Brady), and nephew, Karl Methven (Diane) and their children, Chloe, Taylor and Ryan. Also missing him are his 3 stepsons, Tom (Sue), Andrew (Felicia) and Robert (Laryssa) Cagle and their children John (Alex), and Jacob; Ally and Davy; and Alder and Carolina; and John's two girls, great grands, Iris and Artie.
Charlie's many friends go back to his sandbox days in Concord, NH; VT Academy; the Marine Corps, San Francisco, UNH (sports/Theta Chi) and his career as the co-owner of CranBarry Inc., in Marblehead, MA; tennis and golfing.
After retiring to Florida, he kept his NH roots active, helped by the Tuesday Lunch group of NH 'Boys,' and the UNH Alumni Network.
If you wish to make memorial donation, Charlie suggested giving to your favorite charity – one of his was UNH Athletic Department. Due to current Covid conditions, a service will take place at 11 a.m. on June 13th, 2022, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 110 Daniel Webster Highway Rte 3, Boscawen, NH 03303.

Charming guy, loved by all who rememberd him in Concord . Sorry for the loss of your brother Sandra, Charlie was admired by a Concord group of friends many years ago. May he Rest in Peace. Catherine Pappas
