David's life story is a rich tapestry of deep connections and shared adventures with his friends and family. His profound and lifelong bond with his loving spouse of 52 years, Kathleen M. Valle, began in their college days at Barrington College. Together, they navigated life's myriad adventures, building a family grounded in love. Their son, Matthew J. Valle, and his wife, Sarah, are a testament to this loving foundation. David's role as a proud and devoted grandfather to Neil David Valle and Lucie Elizabeth Valle was marked by unwavering love and joyful engagement in their lives.
David also held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, sharing with them the joys of family and the wonders of the natural world. He was a beloved uncle, always ready with a story, a laugh, and a willingness to embark on new adventures.
The Valle family's cherished memories are deeply rooted in the family lakehouse on Lake Winnipesaukee, a place David and his father built together. Here, David spent countless summers grilling, fishing, and swimming with family and friends. It was a place of bonding, laughter, and the simple joys of life by the water.
David's love for the outdoors extended to the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire, where he shared his passion for hiking with those closest to him. His knowledge of the trails and his enthusiasm for the beauty of nature were infectious, inspiring a love for the outdoors in all who accompanied him.
Yearly trips to Camp of the Woods in the Adirondacks were a cherished family tradition, where David imparted the art of sailing to his loved ones. These moments, filled with the gentle breeze of the lakes and the warmth of the sun, were not just times of leisure but also of learning, bonding, and creating lifelong memories.
Beyond the shores of the Adirondacks, David and Kathleen's compassionate hearts led them to engage in numerous missionary trips, extending their kindness and service across the globe. They traveled to India, Hungary, and the Dominican Republic, where they played a pivotal role in ministering to and bringing essential vision and dental treatment to the rural communities in these nations. David's efforts in these regions were not merely acts of charity, but profound expressions of his desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need and share the love of Christ. David's dedication to these missions was a true reflection of his generous spirit, touching lives far beyond his immediate community and leaving a lasting impact on the world.
David's siblings, Mark and his wife Laurie, Paul, Peter and his wife Kim, along with his in-laws Thomas Myles and his wife Laurie, James Myles and his wife Brenda, Susan Preston and her husband Thomas, Corbett Myles and his wife Eleanor, and Howard Myles will forever cherish memories filled with laughter and shared moments. His family, a central part of his life's journey, will continue to draw inspiration from his kind, loving and adventurous spirit.
Professionally, David was a dedicated computer programmer specializing in financial applications. His career, marked by significant contributions to the State of New Hampshire, was a reflection of his brilliant mind, steadfast dedication and work ethic. His professional achievements, however, were just one facet of his multifaceted personality.
David's passions were as diverse as his skills. A tech-savvy adventurer, he had a particular passion for wildlife photography, seamlessly blending his love for technology with an abiding appreciation for the natural world. His explorations of the National Parks across the United States were not mere hobbies but a way of life that he and Kathleen embraced wholeheartedly.
David and Kathleen's adventurous spirit extended beyond their travels. They were legendary for their enthusiasm in supporting their children and grandchildren in marathons, triathlons, hockey and lacrosse games, and regattas. These shared experiences, filled with encouragement and joy, are treasured memories that encapsulate the essence of David's spirited and loving nature.
