Donald B. Goldman

Watertown, MA — Donald B. Goldman passed away Friday June 24, 2022 after several months of declining health, at 83 years old. Born on July 22, 1938, he was predeceased by his parents Rose and Walter Marie of Nahant and David and Eva Goldman of Revere. Donald was the beloved husband of the late Carol K. Goldman with whom he shared 47 seven years of marriage, living in Watertown, MA where they raised their children David Marglin of San Francisco, CA and Elizabeth Marglin of Longmont, CO. Donald is survived by his brothers Stephen Goldman and his wife Ann of Concord, NH and Joel Marie of Nahant, MA and his sister Paulette Marie and her husband Tim Bell of Nahant, MA. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Joanne Marie. Donald cared deeply for his nieces and nephews Andrew and Lauren Goldman, Greg and Eric Marie and Mariana and Tony Bell and grandchildren Jordan and Jasmine Boldt.

Donald received his BA degree in engineering from Northeastern University which he attended with his dear friends Karen Weatherbee and her late husband Bob. Donald served in the Air Force Reserves where he discovered his love of photography. He retired from Children's Hospital, Boston following a long career as a medical equipment technician and clinical engineer.

Donald enjoyed travelling and photographing the world with Carol. He was an active member of Beth El Temple Center in Belmont, MA where he was honored for his volunteer service. The family also thanks his care companion Annette Vincent.

The funeral is Friday, July 1st at 11:00 am at Beth El Temple Center, 2 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in his memory to Beth El Temple Center or Care Dimensions Hospice. To attend on Zoom, please contact the family or Beth El Temple Center.
