I wish to extend my sympathy to friends and family members of Doris. We were friends throughout junior and senior high school and our early working years. Then we reconnected about 20 years ago and annual visits at her place or elsewhere were something I always looked forward to. I was hoping to make that visit this summer but now I'll look forward to our visits in the great beyond. She was an extremely kind soul and so very generous. My dog Penny is still enjoying her bed quilt made by Doris and gifted to me. Doris had exquisite taste and that was beautifully exhibited in her lovely home. She was a most gracious host and I will miss touring her gardens with her. Now she can actually hear the angels that are surrounding her and easily converse with all her loved ones who have gone before. RIP, my friend.
