Doris Rolinson Obituary
Londonderry, NH — Doris Ann Morgan Rolinson, 81, of Londonderry, NH passed away May 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 4, 1941, in Concord, NH, a daughter of the late Edward and Marcelle (LaPlante) Morgan Hubbard.
Doris graduated from Concord High School, class of 1959. She worked for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield where she later retired. Doris enjoyed spending time with her friends, gardening, traveling, and engaging in a multitude of crafts, especially quilting. Above all else she loved her pets, Alexis, and Demi.
Doris is survived by her sisters, Lucille Morgan Arseneault of Concord, NH, and Phyllis Morgan Shea and her husband Richard of Ellsworth, ME; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and one great grandniece. In Doris's words, "The biggest heart of all that I leave behind is my adopted daughter and caretaker, Glenda Toomey Edgecomb." Doris was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Wiggin.
Private burial will take place in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium of Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements. I wish to extend my sympathy to friends and family members of Doris. We were friends throughout junior and senior high school and our early working years. Then we reconnected about 20 years ago and annual visits at her place or elsewhere were something I always looked forward to. I was hoping to make that visit this summer but now I'll look forward to our visits in the great beyond. She was an extremely kind soul and so very generous. My dog Penny is still enjoying her bed quilt made by Doris and gifted to me. Doris had exquisite taste and that was beautifully exhibited in her lovely home. She was a most gracious host and I will miss touring her gardens with her. Now she can actually hear the angels that are surrounding her and easily converse with all her loved ones who have gone before. RIP, my friend.
