Dorothy Gilpatric Obituary

SALISBURY – Mrs. Dorothy A. Gilpatric, 70, of Salisbury, died at Hospice House in Concord Monday, March 16, 2015.

She was born in Franklin on Dec. 2, 1944, the daughter of Roger E. Rainville and Marguritte (Clark) Rainville. Dorothy was raised in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1962. She and her husband have lived in Salisbury for 46 years.

She was formerly employed at Hoyt's Electric in Penacook and lastly at Merrimack County Nursing Home for 12 years prior to retiring due to ill health.

Dorothy enjoyed the outdoors especially growing flowers and walking.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul M. Gilpatric of Salisbury; three sons, Joseph P. Gilpatric of Bristol, Brian A. Gilpatric of Easton, Mass. and Timothy S. Gilpatric and his wife, Renee of Danbury; her granddaughter, Megan Gilpatric of Bristol; four brothers, Phillip Rainville of Auburn, Edward Rainville of Merrimack, Louis Rainville of Franklin and Arthur Rainville of Easton; her sister, Elaine C. Rainville of Lancaster; and nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin.

A Mass celebrating Dorothy's life will be held Monday, March 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Church.

Spring burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Salisbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to The Payson Cancer Center, 250 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301.
