My students and I were blessed by having Eda visit my classroom at Dame School. She typically would work on literacy skills with a student one to one on her afternoons with us. She couldnt help herself each week bringing a little trinket for the students she worked with because she was so generous. One summer, she and I went to lunch together where we talked for hours. She shared some wonderful stories about her children and her late husband. It was quite clear how much she loved her family. As time went on and the students got bigger, it became challenging for Eda to come in with worry that shed fall or get sick. She always came in with a smile and seemed to love being with the children. And they loved her as well.
Thank you to her family for sharing her with me and my students. I will forever see her sweet smile etched in my memory. We hope that we brought her as much joy as she brought us. Rest In Peace lovely lady!

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

My dear Eda--I have so many memories of our youthful days before we were married especially when we drove cross country in your brother Pat's old car that had no air condition. And so many other get togethers down thru the years. So glad that we had our summer visit and our after Christmas chat planning our next summer visit .Arrivederci, my friend.

I had the pleasure of working for Eda & Jack @ LFA while in high school. She taught me many valuable lessons that I have carried with me through life. I was fortunate enough to have met Terese & Eda a couple of months ago & was able to thank her for what she had taught me. My condolences to the families at this difficult time.
