Gerry Strickland Obituary

NORTHFIELD – Gerry Dean Strickland, 75, of Northfield, formerly of Sanbornton, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on May 10, 2017.
He was born on Jan. 16, 1942 in South Carolina. Gerry served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until 1966. He worked at Watts Regulator in Franklin for several years.
He enjoyed his restored 1957 Chevy and attending Cruise Nights and car shows.
He is survived by close friends, Cecile Rowell of Northfield and Jim Delaney of Andover, and many friends.
Gerry was predeceased by his brother, Alton Keith Strickland.
A graveside service will be held at Franklin Cemetery on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 1 p.m. with military honors.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Franklin Animal Shelter, 71 Puch Brook Road, Franklin, N.H. 03235.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death and our loving Heavenly Father is very aware and understand your painful loss. He will listen to your prayer and pay attention to your pleas for help because he is near to all those calling on him. In the days of your distress, he will answer you. Find comfort that your loved one will live again. (Psalms 86:6-7) Your family and friends have my deepest condolences.
