Italo Vlacich Obituary
Italo, the son of Louis and Anna Vlacich, was born September 9, 1936, in Labin, Croatia. He immigrated to the United States in 1955, where he eventually met his best friend and wife of nearly 45 years, Anna DiSarro Vlacich. Together, they raised two sons, Michael Vlacich and David Vlacich in Concord.
Italo was a proud and devoted grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren; Alexander Italo Vlacich, Katherine Maria Vlacich, Gabrielle Jo-Anne Vlacich, and Abigail Elizabeth Vlacich. Other surviving members of his family include his two daughters in law, Liz Purdy and Jo-Anne Vlacich; two sisters, Giulia Bonelli and Graziella Dumicich; one nephew Joseph Bonelli; and three nieces Evelyn Tressitt, Renata Patterson, and Adriana Dumicich; seven grandnieces and nephews; as well as his sister in law Victoria DiSarro; and brothers in law Rosario Bonelli and Anthony Dumicich.
In addition to enjoying spending time with his wife and grandchildren, Italo was an avid reader, fisherman, and gardener.
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 South Main Street, Concord.
Burial will follow in the Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the CRVNA Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, N.H., 03301.
Waters Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
