Jacqueline LaFrance Obituary

Jacqueline LaFrance

Bow, NH — Jacqueline Theresa (Adams) LaFrance, 88 of Bow, NH passed away peacefully on April 18, 2022 with family at her side, just four weeks after the passing of her husband of 64 years, Richard. Heartbroken to lose them both, the family takes solace knowing they are together in eternity.

Jackie was born December 27, 1933 in Lowell, MA to the late Tyler and Alvina Adams. She was raised in Lowell and often shared fond memories growing up as one of seven siblings. She learned beautiful penmanship under threat of the ruler by the nuns at her Catholic School, used newspapers to both pad her shoes and curl her hair, and after graduating high school, worked for Raytheon, building circuit boards that she said were either used for microwave ovens or missile guidance systems, she wasn't sure which. She also worked in a jump rope factory placing bells on jump ropes where she recalled safety being problematic and more than one young lady leaving with bells attached to her fingers.

Jackie moved to New Hampshire in 1964, where she would spend the rest of her life supporting her husband's career, raising her family, and spending time with neighbors and friends. She enjoyed summer vacations with the kids, crafting, reading, cooking, and talking about her children and grandchildren. She worked as a cashier at Market Basket for many years where she made friends of customers and co-workers alike. She cherished the friendships she made as a member of the Bow Ladies Bowling League.

She leaves behind her children Stephen (Kathy) LaFrance of Stratford, NH; Lisa (Jeffrey) Woodruff of Chester, NH; Marybeth Salgueiro of Round Rock, TX; Laurie (Mark) Marshall of Chichester, NH; James (Cynthia) LaFrance of Goffstown, NH; her grandchildren Cooper Woodruff, Layne Woodruff, Lauren Salgueiro, Marisa Salgueiro and Devin LaFrance; a brother, Paul (Sally) Adams of Manchester, NH; as well as a recent arrival, great-granddaughter Mila. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Ricky.

The family welcomes you to celebrate the lives of both Richard and Jackie with a prayer service followed by a reception at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main Street Concord, NH on May 7, 2022 at 11 am.

So saddened to hear of both Richard's and Jackie's passing.
Richard was a great guy always checking up on the neighbors during his daily walks, giving cheerful stories, some about his beloved Jackie. Jackie would wave frim her front deck as we'd
toot on our way by.

Jamie we are so saddened for you, your siblings, children. I know your parents are together, but will be missed by all.

Sending deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom. I got to know Jackie years ago when we bowled together on Thursday mornings. She was such a delight to be with.
