We were so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Jim so soon after he & Ann had started a new chapter of their life together. Jim was the first person in the neighborhood that we met when we moved to Canterbury...if you know Jim this will sound just like him...he drove up the driveway on his little tractor, chains on the tires & all, just to say hi! Hoping Ann & the entire family find peace in memories that make them smile the most

Dear Ann and family,
jim's passing makes this old world a little sadder. He always brought happiness wherever he was. Such a good person, I'm forever grateful for his help after Bill's death.

I was in inmate when "Mr. B" as he was affectionately called was a Correctional Officer. No finer man ever wore the Blue. I was present the day he had his heart attack on duty, and although we tried to help, we were shooed away by the other officers. We were glad to hear that he recovered. He was extremely professional and treated everyone with respect and dignity. In turn, he was well respected by everyone. He will be fondly remembered.

Much respect to Jim and his family! I didn't work with Jom long as I started with the DOC when Jim was closer to the end of his career than the beginning, but I have fond memories of working with him. He was always a nice guy and it was a true pleasure to have had the chance to know him.

I met Jim through his wife Ann when they lived in Canterbury, and what seems like a lifetime ago. He always had a smile on his face and was always a source of inspiration and a great listener. Although several years have passed since we last spoke my memories of him have never faded. Both Jim and Ann were important people during a very difficult time in my life and I will be forever grateful to them. Ann, I love you and miss you and our talks.
