Jayne Golde Obituary

Jayne Golde

Concord, NH - Our beloved Jayne Ann Golde, 61, of Concord, passed away on January 17th after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time she passed.

Jayne was born on May 11th, 1962 to Rose Marie and William Jorgensen in Bay Shore, NY. Known for her passion for nursing and caring for others, Jayne worked for the Granite VNA for 23 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Jayne lived a very active life, enjoying many hiking and biking trips with friends and playing tennis and golf in her free time. When she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found reading a good book, enjoying time with friends, or walking the Sewalls Falls Trail with her favorite neighborhood pups.

Jayne's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her children, Matt and Meghan, her mother Rose Marie, her brother William Jr., her granddaughter Eloise, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Because Jayne was an avid dog lover, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local Pope Memorial SPCA. There will be a celebration of life on February 3rd, 2024, at The Covered Bridge Farm Table Restaurant located at 57 Blair Rd, Campton, NH 03223 from 1-3pm.

The Bennett Funeral Home 209 N. Main St. Concord, NH 03301 is assisting the family with arrangements.

I remember Jayne in my years at St John´s and our time in chorus. She was
always cheerful with a smile on her face and was a great singer.

I was so sorry to read of Jayne's passing in the Monitor. We worked together many years ago when she was at Dartmouth Hitchcock and she was a respected colleague, whose assessments I could always trust. She was a pleasure to work with and just a lot of fun, and we missed her when she moved on to the VNA. My deepest sympathies to you all.
