Justin Parker Obituary

Justin Michael Parker

Henniker, NH - Justin Michael Parker, 24, of Henniker, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Born on January 22, 2000, in Concord, NH he was the son of Keith Parker and Patricia (Carreau) Parker.

Justin grew up in Henniker and he was very excited to graduate high school. He was seen running the halls at John Stark to be the first student to obtain all the signatures from his teachers. He went skydiving with a friend to celebrate! After high school, he obtained a 2 year degree in electrical at the Manchester School of Technology before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. He honorably served his country as Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps, and while stationed in Japan he climbed Mt. Fuji and learned how to scuba dive.

A goofball that loved to make everyone laugh, he was always willing to help anyone he could. His love for traveling started at 3 months old, and continued as he grew, to hiking around the world or any trail he could find. He climbed Mount Katahdin at the age of 13 and during his early teenage years he became a thrill seeker. He was able to experience the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, and many other adventures. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, golfing, snowboarding, and paintball. An avid sports player throughout his life, when he was younger, he played indoor and outdoor soccer, and lacrosse.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Parker; father Keith Parker and his step-mom Sara Parker; step-sister Aida and Madeleine; Aunt Kimberly; Uncles Darrin and Robert III; Grandmother Linda: cousins Amanda, Alyasia, Caleb, Breahnna, Lilly; and Javin; and many loving friends and extended family. He is predeceased by his Grandfathers Gordon Parker and Robert Carreau Jr.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2 from 1PM-3PM at Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home, 32 School St, Hillsboro, NH. A Funeral Service will held on Monday, February 3 from 12PM-1PM at Holt-Woodbury Funeral, with a Chapel Service to follow at 2PM at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster HWY, Boscawen, NH.

The family asks that you bring a photo of Justin and yourself and tell a story of how you knew him.

Justin and I met in high school. We both enjoyed going on adventures and making the most of our days outside of school. I will dearly miss my friend. He showed me so many amazing places in NH. I know he is watching over me on all my adventures. Rest Easy JP.

I had the honor of being on the flight that carried your son home to Manchester yesterday. I have never felt some humble. As a military wife of 25 years, this was very surreal. I lost my daughter 4 months ago and know the pain you are going through. It is a pain that we should never have to survive but know you are not alone. Prayers to you and your family through this time and many hard times to come. God bless.
