It´s hard to put into words the loss of Larry Leppard-a truly remarkable soul whose generosity, wisdom, and boundless curiosity touched so many lives.
Larry was a master of everything he touched. From electrical systems to plumbing, carpentry to masonry, he poured his heart into every project with infectious enthusiasm. He didn´t just fix things-he taught us how to fix them, passing on a treasure trove of handyman wisdom with patience and pride.
Beyond the tools and trades, Larry had a love for the earth itself. He´d show up with fresh kale, collard greens, or farm-fresh eggs, grown and gathered with care from his garden. He was always excited to talk about what he was working on-his latest projects, his time in the U.S. Navy submarines, and stories from his childhood on the farmlands of upstate New York.
He lived fully, shared freely, and made everyone around him feel wiser, warmer, and more capable. Rest in peace, Chief Larry. Your legacy grows every time one of us uses a trick you taught, plants a seed you inspired, or tells a story that starts, "Larry once showed me how..."
Rest in Pece Chief
With heartfelt sympathy,

I absolutely agree with the previous post, he was so kind even to total strangers. Larry helped my parents out tremendously during a family emergency years ago. He was such a caring and talented person that words alone can´t describe him. He was certainly an angel on earth. RIP Larry!
