Linda Smith Obituary

On Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, Linda Smith passed away at 60, after bravely battling a prolonged illness, surrounded by her family who loves her dearly.

She was a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School, class of 1975 and served in the Army. She traveled around the country before returning to live in New Hampshire where she met and married her beloved George 22 years ago. She found joy in being a member of her church. She loved crafting and making gifts for family and friends. She loved her family but especially her nieces and nephews. She always found time to take them to fun places and they never outgrew her or she them. Linda possessed and sense of humor that simmered from a slow giggle to a full-blown laugh.

Linda was predeceased by her father, Don Caswell; and her mother, Dorothy Caswell. She leaves behind her husband, George A. Smith; her mother, Sandra Caswell; her siblings, Casey Scheinler, Heather Taylor, Jamie Guerra, Jason Caswell, Preston Caswell, Jennifer Caswell and Jay Caswell. She will also be missed dearly by her nieces and nephews, Alex Young, Jessica Gelvin, Beau Williams, SunMi Scheinler, Skylar Young, Blaisdelle Taylor, Madison Young, Lucas Karathanasis, Abbey Taylor, Matt Taylor, Brady Caswell and Jordan Caswell; and her great-nephew, Joey Gelvin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. at her church, Landmark Baptist Church in Loudon.

She will be missed for her gentle loving spirit, forgiving soul, and her unwavering ability to see the best in all.

Love and deepest sympathy to Casey and the Caswell and Smith families. So very sorry for the loss of your dear wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. A lot of great times were had when we were kids hanging out in Loudon that will always be remembered with great fondness. Her obituary was such a lovely tribute. Linda did have a great laugh! Love, Brenda
