Another Christmas has passed, but memories of my father never fade away. The memory is simply extra vivid during the holiday seasons. We miss our loved ones who once joined us to celebrate special days. There is a seat at the table that once spelled his name but now it's empty. My Dad is dearly missed each day and during the holiday season. HLH

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I had the priviledge of helping Lionel during the time I worked at Ridgewood. He was a gentleman, and we enjoyed our conversations about music. I would love to have seen him perform, as i am sure he was a talented player.
I am sorry for your loss, but know he has reached his heavenly reward.
