Louis Foisy Obituary
He was born March 3, 1945, in East Derry, and was the President of his 1963 graduating class at Pinkerton Academy. Skip served honorably in the United States Air Force and returned to marry the love of his life, Patricia (Haynes) Foisy on July 18, 1970.
Skip retired as a Cpl. in the NH State Police and enjoyed photography, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Skip will be remembered as honest, humble, hardworking and a man of great integrity.
Skip is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Dr. Stephanie Foisy Mills; granddaughters, Brooke and Emilee Mills of Concord; and sister, Donna Elliott of Center Sandwich.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 29, at 12 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 177 North Main St., Concord.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pinkerton Academy Alumni Center, 5 Pinkerton St., Derry, NH 03038, to establish a scholarship fund in his honor.

I will always be grateful to "Skip" Foisy for helping me with photography along with his dear friend Neal. Skip shared his knowledge and stories on a regular basis as well as professional instruction. He loved his family and his work. A class act.

Pat and Stephanie, Cindy and I were so sad to hear about Skip. I First met Skip in 1976, when I was a rookie trooper being trained by Roger. I will always remember Skip's kindness (and advice), easy going personality and sense of humor. He will truly be missed

I haven't seen Skip in many years, but when we were young I visited with Fritz,Anna,Skip, and Donna often in Derry and Londonderry with my folks, Ernest and Ruth Smith. Dad and Fritz were cousins and great friends. Skip was so much like his dad, a real gentleman.I saw them last at my parent's 50th in 1985! I had a DVD made from video of that party if you'd like a copy Donna or Stephanie, just call,I'm in Pembroke.I'm so sorry for your loss. More than 40 years ago Skip Foisy came into my life and an everlasting friendship was formed that continued until the day he died. Nearly a week has passed since my dearest friend and the closest person I ever had to a true brother left us and I am still struggling to accept it. Rest in peace my brother - I will never forget you.

We had a lot of fun in Alaska esp. the horseback ride - Over the years, I asked him to take a photo of bombs a few times, before I disarmed them - he did it but did not linger for a light check or extra photos. I will miss Skip.

While I didn't know Skip when he was still with the NHSP, I knew the name.
When I did get to meet through the NHPPA I found him to be a true gentleman and worthy of the accolades I'd heard.

I was shocked and saddened to read of Skip's passing. I saw him last at our Pinkerton Academy 50th. class reunion in 2013. My Prayers and sympathy go out to his family. May God Bless him and his family.

Skip took the school pictures for my daughter's preschool. We have beautiful pictures of her because he loved what he was doing and had a great time with the kids. We didn't know him otherwise, but truly appreciate him for capturing some great memories for us.
