Mary Fuller Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Fuller

Concord, NH - Mary Elizabeth Fuller, of Concord NH, passed away from cancer on July 27, 2024 at the age of seventy-two.

Mary grew up in Grafton, MA, surrounded by a large, close-knit family. She graduated from Worcester State College, Quinsigamond Community College, and Worcester Polytechnic

Institute. She was a fierce advocate, a beloved teacher, and a lifelong learner. Also a talented artist, she designed her own jewelry, photographed stunning landscapes, painted with watercolors and pastels, and created her own recipes to cook delicious feasts. Mary was an avid hiker and enjoyed traveling, biking, kayaking, and watching the sunset. She loved to attend live performances of theater and music, especially if she could stand up in the aisles and dance.

Most of all, Mary was devoted to her family and friends. She would move mountains to support the people she cared about and would always make space to listen and offer sage advice. Mary will be remembered for her warm heart, her tenacity, her courage, and her wisdom (as well as the stop signs at the intersection of School St. & N Fruit St).

In her final year, facing an impossible diagnosis, Mary found joy in every day, walking with her family, visiting with friends, playing games, and traveling. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Fuller; son Michael Fuller and daughter-in-law Cara Cordeaux; daughter Jameyanne Fuller; son Jan Fuller; and sisters Gina Brown and Lisa Italiano and niece Carly LeCara and their families.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Mary's honor to The Seeing Eye, Inc., P.O. box 375, Morristown, NJ, 07963, www.seeingeye.org.

A memorial service celebrating Mary's life will be held on Saturday, August 17, at 2:00 PM at the Concord Community Music School, 23 Wall Street, Concord, NH. Please join us to share Mary's favorite music and stories of her life.

I was so saddened just yesterday to read, belatedly, the news of Mary's death. Jameyanne, you and your mother were such a vibrant, fun, enthusiastic part of our Italian classes all those years ago. Your mother's warmth and generosity, her eagerness to learn and to share, were, I am sure, characteristic of her in all aspects of her life. To you, Jameyanne (who, in your own right, were a tour de force in our group) and to your father and siblings, I send deepest sympathy, prayers for comfort and love, and for all that you long for for yourselves. With warm wishes, Toni Callahan
