My sincerest condolences to the Fanny family for your loss. I remember Mr. Fanny well from Social Studies class at MVHS. He always made whatever we were discussing so interesting that you didn't stop at just the text book, but went to the Library to get more information about it. He awakened the desire to learn, and although I'm sorry to learn he's passed, I am glad to have known him and to have had him for a teacher.

Mike liked to pretend he was Mr. McGruff, but he had a heart of gold and not a mean bone in his body. I was pleased to read he retired at 62 and had many years to enjoy his family and `´cherish´´ his grand children. He was a good man and will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear that Mike Fanny had passed last Friday. Being with the Fanny and Davis families has always been such a joy. Mike's love of family, his work in the community, his work as a teacher and his church ministry remind us all of the fine person he was. It was a pleasure to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Fanny and Davis families today and always. Mike will be missed by all of us. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Love Bernadette

Oh my, Mike how I will cherish the memories of late-night City Council meetings, sitting in the back row, with a running cometary of the goings on.
Or our monthly meetings at recreation with Fred trying to keep everything from going into a full riot. The City of Concord is a better place because of your service to it. I sit here now and laugh at the good times we had. RIP my friend.

I am saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. I count myself lucky to have known, worked with and been encouraged by him at MVHS. An example would be because of his support of the Arts, he made it possible for my art students to create grave rubbings at Blossom Hill Cemetery and learning about local history and preservation. He was a good person and brought a sense of worth to all who came in contact with him. I know how very much you and your family will miss him. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you all.
