Norma Harriet Clark Gilman

Pittsfield, NH — Norma Harriet Clark Gilman, 90, born on October 22, 1931 in South Pittsfield, Webster Mills Road, Pittsfield died at Epsom Health Care Center on November 22, 2021.

Norma was the daughter of the late Augustus T. Clark and Eva (Frennette) Clark. She had 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

Norma worked for Adams Shoe Company for many years as a seamstress . Once Norma's children were grown she took the role as a nanny for a local family. When those kids were grown Norma then took the role as a caregiver for a couple local families.

Norma then worked at the Epsom Manor, truly loving her job and all the residents, she retired after 5 years .

Norma was a part of Tops/Kops for 23 years where she enjoyed the company of lots of friends. Norma was an avid walker and would walk her 3 mile loop around her block. You would

also find Norma in her gardens, crocheting, knitting mittens for her grandkids or making popcorn balls for Halloween, and baking breads for people at Christmas. Norma's favorite

pastime was taking Sunday rides with her husband Leonard.

Norma was predeceased by her parents, Augustus Clark and Eva Clark and her 9 sisters and 2 Brothers, along with her husband of 64 years, Leonard Gilman Sr. who died on April 15, 2013.

Norma leaves behind her 3 children; Leonard Gilman Jr. and his wife of Epsom, Donald Gilman of Epping and Gail Gilman and her partner Dave Valley of Pittsfield, along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the HA Marston Scholarship fund c/o Pittsfield trustees of trust funds.

The family would like to thank Epsom Health Care for the care they gave to Norma.
