Pamela Clark Obituary

Pamela Clark

Concord, NH - Pamela Clark, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and mentor to many passed away on October 11, 2023. She was born February 4, 1956, in Brattleboro Vt. Her family lived in a log cabin built by her father in West Dummerston, Vt. There, her love of the outdoors blossomed. Her many tales of family camping at Lake Maidstone, her love of loons, canoeing, hiking, skiing, and birding were a source of pride of a childhood well spent. Pam graduated from Brattleboro Union High School and received an undergraduate degree from Keene State College. She then went on to get her CAGS degree which led to administrative positions in education and finally to UNH for her doctorate in Education. She immersed herself in special education in elementary schools and was eventually a Principal for Rundlett Jr. High in Concord, NH. Pam continued her professional career as an advisor and teacher in the doctoral program at Plymouth State College and then as a private consultant for Superintendents and Principles in NH and MA to advise and help reconstruct administration teams. She worked as a strong advocate for teachers, redesigning curriculum that better suited the needs of the children. Pam was a tireless advocate for children in education. Her passion for her students was evident in the workshops and classes she taught and the countless volunteer hours she spent working to change the environments in which they were learning. Towards the end of her life, she was drawn to study the science of astrology, which developed into a gift through which she helped people make sense of their lives. Pam had a deep sense of spirit and visited many holy sites in her lifetime. She was a Songweaver at CCMS. One of her most deeply loved places was Dimond Hill Farm in Concord where she lived for over 20 years.

Pam leaves behind her mother Barbara Clark of Dummerston, Vt, her brother Ashley and his partner Kathy, nephew Steven, great nephew James and niece Amanda. She was predeceased by her father Ernest and her brother James. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Concord Community Music School or the Susan G Komen Foundation.

A Celebration of her Life will take place at the Concord Community Music School on November 15, 2023, from 4:00-6:00. All are welcome.
