Paul Germain Obituary

Paul J. St. Germain

Allenstown, NH - Paul St. Germain, 83, of Allenstown NH, passed away on April 11, 2024. He was born in Hooksett NH to the late Damase and Georgianna (Morgan) St. Germain.

Paul had worked locally in construction prior to his employment at Methuen Construction where he was a heavy equipment operator for many years. His interests included a long-time passion for cars, particularly Chevrolets, which he took pride in and maintained meticulously, as he did his home. His usual quiet demeanor would be surprisingly cast aside with animated discussion of all things NASCAR; and he and his wife, Joanie, attended many races at New Hampshire International Speedway and Daytona.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Joan (Zona) St. Germain, whom he missed greatly. He was also predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Yolande and Maurice Nepveu, and nephews Roy and Donald Nepveu. He is survived by the Nepveu, Herlihy, and Zona families.

In 1998, Paul was the grateful recipient of a life-changing kidney transplant which worked vigorously for the rest of his life. He, and his family, sincerely appreciate the care he received from the Dartmouth Hitchcock Transplant Department throughout his transplant journey.

To honor Paul's wishes, there will be no funeral service. The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
