I was deeply saddened to hear of Peter's passing. It was my extreme pleasure to host him, when he stayed at Tall Timber, with his friends, Bill and Lenny and also when he returned with Dina and her brother.
Peter was such a pleasant man to visit with. A world of information about anything from simple to complex. His laughter will be remembered as he would joke around with the boys. Rest in peace Peter. Your work is done here.

Dina, so sorry for your loss of Peter. He was a true gentleman and always brought a smile to me when he visited the PD.

Oh Dina - I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your husband. I have fond memories of him when Terry and I had visited you. Likely you will not recall but Peter sent us home with cuttings of lilac and weeping willow. I planted them in Newfields and they flourish!!! Wishing you and Adam comfort and peace.

Peter was a wonderful man. His good humor, wry wit and ready comebacks were legendary. Thank you Peter for many years of collegiality at SPS.

A lovely generous kind human being...he knew books, he worked with me to add a few ‘old girl’ items to match the offerings men enjoyed and he knew products that would appeal to book store clients. He spoke so admirably of his lovely family. Simply a gentleman that I am delighted to have known. RIP

Peter gave my son his first job, working in his Nottingham orchard, and he introduced me to my favorite apple, the Black Oxford. He was a gentle-man who loved and respected his wife and son with his whole being. I always enjoyed a chat with him. He will surely be missed in our community. My sincere condolences to Dina and Adam.
