Contoocook, NH — Priscilla A. Edwards, (Peewee), 85, of Contoocook, NH, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on May 11, 2022.

Priscilla was born January 3, 1937, in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late Alfred and Ethel Severance. She graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1955, where everyone knew her as Peewee. She loved playing all sports, especially basketball.

Priscilla married Orville Edwards of Hillsborough, NH in 1955. They built their forever home in Contoocook, where they raised their four children.

Priscilla worked for Osram Sylvania, in Hillsborough, for 44 years, starting in 1957 until her retirement in 2001. During those years, Peewee enjoyed bowling across the street, from Osram, for many years.

Priscilla is survived by her son David Edwards of Contoocook, grandson Scott Edwards and his girlfriend Leslie Hicks, of Salisbury and his mother Sheila Edwards of Contoocook. Daughter Dodie Smith and her husband David Smith of Contoocook. Son Dwain Edwards and his fiancée, Kelly Smith of Concord.

Priscilla is predeceased by her husband Orville Edwards, her daughter Debora Emerson, and her brother George.

A celebration of life will be held at the Contoocook American Legion, June 11th at 11:00.

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
