Raymond Farland Obituary
Nashua, NH - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Raymond R. Farland, DDS, of Nashua, NH, who died peacefully at home on August 26, 2025, with his devoted wife of 47 years, Ali, by his side.
Born in Nashua on July 30, 1952, to Wilfred and Beatrice Farland, Dr. Farland is survived by his siblings Gerry, Claire Plamondon, Janet Plamondon, and Donald, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A graduate of Georgetown Dental School in 1984, Dr. Farland returned to New Hampshire, where he dedicated more than four decades to dentistry. He established his own practice in Chichester in 1996 and faithfully served his patients until his retirement in 2024. Affectionately known as "Doctor Ray," he was admired for his skill and compassionate care.
Dr. Farland was a man of wide interests and a generous soul. He enjoyed home projects, gardening, classic cinema, motorcycling, and the "golden oldies." He took great joy in sharing homecooked meals with family and friends. His warmth, wit, and selfless spirit enriched the lives of his patients, family, friends, and, especially, his nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visiting Hours will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, located at 26 Kinsley Street in Nashua, NH, on Friday, August 29 from 10:30am - 12:30pm, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 12:30pm at the Funeral Home. My family and I were very sad to hear of Dr. Farland's passing. He was a wonderful dentist and an intelligent, kind, caring and compassionate gentleman! I never experienced any stress during my dental appointments with Dr. Farland, which spanned 25 years. It was wonderful when Ali joined him in his practice, too! I will always be grateful for the kindness and exceptional dental care which the Dr. Farland provided!

Dr Ray and Ali were a great team....I´ve missed them greatly since their retirement...very sorry to hear of Dr Rays passing. Thank you for your many years of service. RIP
