Richard E. Fortune

Loudon, NH - Richard E. Fortune (73) Loudon NH passed away on March 1, 2026 at Hospice House of Concord. Born 6/15/1953, he was a Master Plumber in several New England States and the owner of R.E.F. Plumbing and Heating. Later in life he discovered his enjoyment of Long Haul Trucking which allowed him to travel across the country.

Richard was a life long Harley Davidson enthusiast and rider, leather craftsman, fine craft wood working - including making musical instruments, and had a profound interest in Native American culture.

Richard is predeceased by his mother Geraldine D. Dean and father Richard E. Fortune. Survived by his 4 children, Teresa Fortune-Woodward (spouse Mary Jo) of Wells ME., David L. Fortune of Loudon NH, Leah A. Fortune (partner Terrence McDonough) East Harwich MA, Blain W. Fortune (spouse Joanne) San Diego CA, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, sisters Leonie Gagnon (spouse William) of Concord, Susan Dean Jones (spouse Douglas) of Pembroke, brother Theodore Dean of Concord and many nieces and nephews.

Richard was cremated at Phaneuf Crematorium in Manchester NH. His family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
