Russell Gutknecht Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Concord on Mar. 17, 2026.
Russell C. Gutknecht, 56, of Worcester, died suddenly on March 12, 2026.

He graduated from Bromfield High School in Harvard, MA in 1987 where he was a valuable player on the soccer team.

He was a skillful and talented landscaper and an expert-level equipment operator since his teenage years. He was renowned for his work as a dozer operator and he knew how to create amazingly beautiful stonework.

He was an avid NASCAR fan. Over the years, he attended many races from the New Hampshire International Speedway to Talladega. He enjoyed the opportunity to learn and drive at the NASCAR Academy in Georgia. Beyond NASCAR, he was also a diehard Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics fan.

He enjoyed the culinary arts. He took great pride in creating unique and tasteful dishes and sharing them with others. Animals brought him great joy in life.

He is survived by his mother, Linda (LeRiche) Robbins, and his father, G. Russell Gutknecht.

No formal services are planned at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord, MA.
