Richard Zinno Obituary
Concord, NH - Richard Francis Zinno, 71, of Concord, NH sadly left us on October 28, 2023 following a short illness of kidney cancer. Richard was an avid reader of history and politics. He was a very friendly and gentle man. He attended New England College as well as Roger Williams University. He spent many years as a bartender at Thursdays Restaurant in Concord, NH and then became a skilled carpenter.
He is survived by his sister Judith; his brother Bill, and his three nieces Melanie, Jennifer, and Alison. Rick was predeceased by his loving wife Diane Donovan.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hospice, Cornerstone VNA, and Edgewood Centre of Portsmouth, NH for their compassionate care.
Those who wish to commemorate Rick's life may make memorial donations in his name to the Pope Memorial SPCA Concord- Merrimack. Services are private.

My friend, my confidant, my mentor. I met Rick in 1995 when I bought Thursdays Restaurant. His first words to me were " I don't wear shirts without a collar!"
We went on to forge a friendship that lasted years. We worked together doing carpentry jobs and I learned so much. I was so happy when he married Diane , and tried in vane to ease his sorrow when she passed. He's now dancing with her in the heaven he wouldn't believe in.
I love you buddy. I will miss you.

I worked with Rick at Thursdays for over 10 years as a cocktail waitress. He was a kind gentle soul who was everybody´s favorite bartender. I have thought about Rick many times over the years wondering how he was doing and always hoping to meet up with him again.
Thank you, Rick for all the great times!
