Robert Corliss Obituary
Bobby was born in Pittsfield, November 10, 1947 son of the late Stanley L. and Helen E. (Ambrose) Corliss. He has lived in Barnstead most of his life.
During the Vietnam War he served his country with the United States Army.
He attended church at Higher Ground Ministries in Center Barnstead, was a devout fisherman, hunter and loved being outdoors.
Bobby leaves behind a legacy of what true friendship is all about, he will be missed by many.
Survivors include his beloved wife Kristen Joan (Hallquist) Corliss of Barnstead; three brothers Charles "Charlie" Corliss of Epsom, Richard "Dicky" and his wife Mary Corliss of Barnstead, Thomas "Tommy" Corliss and his significant other Frances "Bunny" Murzin of Barnstead; a brother in-law and his wife Dale and Pauline Hallquist of Chichester; a sister in-law Julia Hallquist of Killingworth, Conn.; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 22, at 11 a.m., at Higher Ground Ministries Route 126, Center Barnstead. There will be a luncheon following the service downstairs at the church.
Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
The Perkins and Pollard Funeral Home in Pittsfield is assisting the family with the arrangements.
