Robert (Bob) Allen Gould

Contoocook, NH - Robert (Bob) Allen Gould peacefully and unexpectedly passed on September 20, 2024, at the age of 75. He was the son of the late Allen and Mary Morse Gould, and was pre-deceased by his younger brother William (Bill) Paul Gould. He is survived by his wife Donna Jean (Collins) Gould whom he was married to for 50 years. Bob is survived by two sons, Brian Gould and his wife Anna and their two children Serenity and Bobby and Jason Gould; and a daughter Sarah (Gould) Sanborn, her husband Jody and their son Payne. He is also survived by his brother Edward (Scot) Gould and wife Anne, brother John Mark Gould, and sister Patricia (Patty) Carter.

Bob was born on June 14, 1949, in Concord, NH. Bob graduated from Henniker High School in 1967 and in 1973 he graduated from the New Hampshire State Hospital School of Nursing and later completed anesthesia studies through Anesthesia Associates of Concord in 1976. Bob worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for Anesthesia Associates at Concord Hospital for over forty years. Bob was a preceptor New Hampshire Technical Institute – Concord Community College Paramedic Program.

Bob was a dedicated family man. He always took time to talk about the weather and a joke or two to put a smile on your face and warm your heart with a little laughter. Bob was known for his green thumb and loved raising a variety of birds and other animals. He enjoyed early times spent on his grandparent's farm on Craney Hill, and peaceful times spent at camp by the pond including canoeing through the marsh.

Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, September 29, 2024 Visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 with a prayer services starting at 3 pm in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home at 32 School Street Hillsboro N.H. and a reception to follow at the American Legion Post No.81 at 169 Bound Tree Road Contoocook, NH from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Bob will be laid to rest in the Contoocook Village Cemetery in the days to follow.
