Rose Raedy Obituary

EPSOM – Mrs. Rose D. Raedy, 93, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at the Epsom Health Care Center.
Born in Boston on Feb. 26, 1921, to John Edward and Mary Jane (Keenan) O'Brien, Rose spent most of her life in Braintree, Mass. She had worked for Sears & Roebuck as manager of the children's clothing department and had also been employed as a dental assistant.
Rose spent her winters in West Palm Beach, Fla., loved to travel and was always "ready to go."
She was the widow of Joseph Charles Raedy, who died in 2000, and is survived by three children, Rose Marie Raedy of Epsom, Joseph M. Raedy of Boston, and Thomas P. Raedy of Braintree, Mass.; two grandchildren, TJ Raedy and Erin Lee Raedy of Weymouth, Mass.; and her nephew, James O'Brien of South Boston.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 p.m.
