Steven Blasdell Obituary
Steven is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Malissa A. Blasdell; his son, Oliver; and daughter, Autumn. Son of Ronald L. and stepmother, Ada (Mae) Blasdell as well as mother Alice Witek. Brother of Ronald (Ren) and Christain Blasdell. Other family members include, mother-in-law, Anita M. Hickey; sister-in-law, Jennifer Sanborn; brother-in-law, Ansel Sanborn; as well as his favorite nephew, John Sanborn; other family members include Karen Lovett and Adam Sanborn.
Steven was a fun-loving father who was always the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with his son watching wrestling and Treasure Hunting. He treasured the time spent watching movies and engaging in tickle fights with his daughter. Steve and Malissa were high school sweethearts and their love together will always be cherished. He was best friends with his brother, Ren. They spent many hours together laughing, joking and just having fun. Steve had a passion for photography, hunting, cooking and cruising on his motorcycle.
Steve founded and successfully ran his own general contracting business for 23 years. His most current employment was as a superintendent at Cobb Hill Construction in Concord. He had a talent for working with his hands and found joy being with is family and friends.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St. in Penacook.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. at Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Blasdell Children Educational Fund at Merrimack County Savings Bank, 167 North State St., P.O. Box 2826, Concord, NH 03301.

I was totally heartbroken when I learned of Steve's passing.
He always greeted me with a warm heart and an open mind. Whenever I saw him he always spent the time to ask how I was doing, how my kids were, and what they we up to. He asked because he truly cared. He made me feel like family.
He would speak with me about you, the kids, and also Ren. He was so very proud of all of you.
However your day was going, he had a way of making it turn bright again.
I feel truly blessed to have known Steve. He touched many lives in his time here. The world was blessed to have had him here.

I met Steve through his dear friend Jen almost 25 years ago. I did not know him well but I remember him as a fun-loving person who had a magnetic personality and made people laugh. He had a big heart. The last time I saw him was at
Jen's baby shower and he remembered me, gave me a big warm hug and told me how much he loved how wife and children and how happy he was. It's obvious he'll be sorely missed. I give my sincerest condolences to his family.
