Suzanne Brooks Obituary
Concord, NH - Suzanne J. Brooks, 79 of Concord, NH, passed away from a brief illness on February 12, 2025.
Sue was a lifelong homemaker, a devoted wife of 57 years to Nelson Brooks Sr. (deceased) and the loving mother of two sons, Nelson Brooks Jr. (deceased) of Goffstown and Shawn Brooks of Warner, NH.
Suzanne loved spending her time with family, including fishing when the kids were younger and playing games. As the kids grew, Sue loved to spend her time cleaning, reading books and spending time with her pets, with her latest being her cat Moxie. Sue's love for nature went beyond just household pets. She enjoyed feeding the birds, especially cardinals, and made sure the squirrels received their fair share.
Sue leaves behind her son Shawn Brooks and his wife Crystal Carlisle of Warner; step-granddaughter Bailey Bigelow of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; sister-in-law Heather Letusky and her son Roland, both of Maryland; brother-in-law Robert Brooks of Lynn, MA; sister Paulette Lague of Concord/Auburn; daughters in law Donna Boulanger of Goffstown; Althea Haropulos of Costa Rica.
A Cemetery Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at 10:00AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord at 94 Silk Farm Rd, Concord, NH 03301.
