Teddy was such a sweet soul with a smile that would melt your heart. I'm so thankful to have had him in our lives (friends with my son in high school). May you find some comfort in knowing how many of us are thinking of Teddy and remembering the way he touched everyone with his kind heart.

Thank you for this loving tribute to your son. Despite your unimaginable pain, you were still able to send out a life-affirming message of hope to those still caught in the grip of despair & hopelessness. Thank you! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

What a sweet and loving tribute to your son. I love your comment "...not born from our blood, but from our hearts". Thank you for your reference to mental health issues and your supportive statement that Teddy left our world "on his own terms." As one who lost a brother this way, I feel for you and wish you peace.

I didn´t know your son, but his sweet face caught me. What a precious boy and precious life. My heartfelt sympathy to your family and his loved ones. Thank you for bringing forward the very present issue of mental health - it helps bust that stigma. God Bless Teddy and God Bless his parents and Edward in this loss.

I only knew him for a couple weeks. I was a coworker of his. He was nothing but kind and gentle to everyone he saw. He was a truly sweet person. I'm so sorry for your loss.
